Erin Walling
Erin earned her Private Pilot's License and Tailwheel endorsement in January of 2024. Since January she has started working on her complex endorsement and building cross-country time towards her instrument rating. She lives with her husband of 21 years in New Carlisle, Ohio. She works as a maintenance administrator with AT&T and serves as the secretary/treasurer for her local Labor union.
Erin's exposure to aviation came a little later in life. She supported her husband as he pursued his PPL and fell in love with aviation along the way. Aviation has found its way into all aspects of her life. She recently completed her schooling and is now studying for the testing to earn her A&P. She plans on eventually opening a general aviation shop with her husband and wants to focus on antique aircraft restoration. She serves on the board of her local WAI chapter and is active in several other local aviation organizations including EAA Chapter 382, Flying Angels, Ohio Aviation Association, the 99's, and AOPA. She looks forward to eventually earning her commercial and CFI ratings so that she will be able to help share the passion of flight with others through instructing.
“In life you are either a passenger or the pilot. It is your choice!”
